The Co-op Market & Nursery offers local and regional foods and products, including items made by artisan food businesses that process goods onsite.

Located in Suite F of the Artisan Food Center at Blue Mountain Station, the Co-op Market & Nursery is a cooperative market. Its mission is to increase public access to affordable, healthy and responsibly produced food and environmentally friendly products in Dayton, Wash., and surrounding areas.

As a socially and environmentally responsible organization, we seek to create and nurture relationships with other co-ops, farms, small businesses and producers that are local, sustainable and natural. We believe that bringing people together around good food can strengthen community connections and promote economic and cultural diversity while also increasing overall health.

What is a food co-op?

A cooperative of any kind is usually formed to help two or more people/businesses join forces to accomplish something they probably couldn’t do on their own.

A food co-op is a customer-owned, non-profit store that provides high-quality food from local farmers, gardeners and food processors. The Co-op Market & Nursery at Blue Mountain Station also exists assist people as they discover sustainable food practices—such as gardening and cooking classes—while supporting the economy with an outlet for local products.

Co-op membership application

Membership is $75 per family. Co-op members receive a generous 10% off everything except consignment items. Members who volunteer 12 or more hours per year will receive a $35 gift certificate for the Co-op.

To join, simply complete the membership application and bring it to the Co-op Market & Nursery along with the membership fee.

Vendor policy

Items made by regional producers may be sold at the Co-op Market & Nursery on consignment. Outside vendors are invited to sell goods on Saturdays if desired.
